As a part of our BEd curriculum, we the teacher trainees of Mar Theophilus Training College, Thiruvananthapuram conducted a Conscientization program on 24 February 2021 on the topic "HARMFUL EFFECTS OF SOFT DRINKS". Our group consist of 2 trainees: Faslana E K and Riya Johnson from Physical Science optional.
Today I started the new chapter "Acids, bases and salts" for class 9 students. I have the students of both English and Malayalam medium. So I taken the class in both the languages. In this chapter there are scopes for many demonstration. Their comes the interest of the chapter.
Today I started the new chapter "Water" for class 8 B students. I just given the introduction of the chapter. It was a very interesting chapter. The chapter contains the properties and importance of water. Water is an important thing in our life.
On this peer teaching session our team Faslana E K, Reshma S Lukose and Sophymol B S are done the topic "Reactions of Metals". The topic was little complicated.
Today I completed the chapter "Work, Energy and Power". It was a very easy and simple chapter. Students are very interesting in doing the follow up activities. After completion of the chapter students are cleared their doubts. I was able to deliver the content effectively.
Today I completed the chapter "Solutions". I already practiced the all questions given in the textbook. Provided time to clear the doubts of students. Students are eagerly doing the questions and cleared all the doubts about the chapter.
Today, it was the last class of the chapter "Work, energy and Power". The last topic was "Power". It is a very simple topic and easy to understand. After dealing the topic I discussed the all questions that given in the "Let us assess" section. It was a wonderful experience that dealing with the chapter.
