Peer Teaching

 This is the last session of peer teaching via online. Topic for the session is "Periodic Table" and the session was taken via zoom meeting.

Peer teaching

 The last session of online peer teaching was taken on 27 February 2021 on the topic "Valency". Our team consist of three members Faslana E K, Reshma S Lukose and Riya Johnson. The class was done via zoom meeting. It helps to record the entire session for future reference.

Community Living Camp: Day 2

 On the second day of the community living camp we experienced a premarital course on the forenoon. The session was taken by Dr. M K C Nair. It was a very interesting session. Afternoon we got an activity to prepare concept based video for the session "Vismaya". We enjoyed the session very much.

Community Living Camp: Day 1

 As a part of BEd curriculum conducted a community living camp for the students. Due to the COVID pandemic situation the camp is limited for 3 days. On the first day we get an ice breaking session taken by Sri. Bhramanayakam sir and a folk song session by "Thudi" band. Both the sessions was very interesting.

School Internship: Last Day

 Today is the last day of school internship. We reached the school at sharp 10.00 am. We signed all the lesson templates and also completed the works. Also we collected the feedback form from both optinal subject teachers and Headmistress.

Conscientization Program

 As a part of our BEd curriculum, we the teacher trainees of Mar Theophilus Training College, Thiruvananthapuram conducted a Conscientization program on 24 February 2021 on the topic "HARMFUL EFFECTS OF SOFT DRINKS". Our group consist of 2 trainees: Faslana E K and Riya Johnson from Physical Science optional.

School Internship: Day 15

 Today I started the new chapter "Acids, bases and salts" for class 9 students. I have the students of both English and Malayalam medium. So I taken the class in both the languages. In this chapter there are scopes for many demonstration. Their comes the interest of the chapter.

School Internship: Day 14

 Today I started the new chapter "Water" for class 8 B students. I just given the introduction of the chapter. It was a very interesting chapter. The chapter contains the properties and importance of water. Water is an important thing in our life.

Peer Teaching

 On this peer teaching session our team Faslana E K, Reshma S Lukose and Sophymol B S are done the topic "Reactions of Metals". The topic was little complicated.

School Internship: Day 13

 Today I completed the chapter "Work, Energy and Power". It was a very easy and simple chapter. Students are very interesting in doing the follow up activities. After completion of the chapter students are cleared their doubts. I was able to deliver the content effectively.

School Internship: Day 12

 Today I completed the chapter "Solutions". I already practiced the all questions given in the textbook. Provided time to clear the doubts of students. Students are eagerly doing the questions and cleared all the doubts about the chapter.

School Internship: Day 11

 Today, it was the last class of the chapter "Work, energy and Power". The last topic was "Power". It is a very simple topic and easy to understand. After dealing the topic I discussed the all questions that given in the "Let us assess" section. It was a wonderful experience that dealing with the chapter.

School Internship: Day 10

 Today I have session with class 8 students. I was taking the chapter "Solutions". It is good chapter with a lot of daily life examples. So it is very interesting to transfer via online as well as offline. I can include a lot of digital aids in it. It was really interesting for the students.

School Internship: Day 9

 This is the second last class of the chapter "Work, Energy and Power". The content presented with the help of power point presentation. The videos and pictures I selected was helpful for me to make the content more easy. The students are eagerly asking about the topic.

Peer Teaching

 It was the third peer teaching session of team Bodhi S Dharman, Faslana E K and Merlin Abraham on topic "Conductors". The session was done via zoom meeting and recorded for future future reference. 

School Internship: Day 8

 Today is the first class of 8 th standard in the second week of school internship. So I revised the whole once more to recall the objectives. It was really helpful for the students. The content was presented with the help of power point presentation. The class was taken via google meet. I shared the contents with the students for the best of my knowledge.

 The second peer teaching session was taken via zoom meeting on the topic " Electric motor" by the team Faslana E K, Neena P C and Sophymol B S.

School Internship: Day 7

 On the first day of second week, I was with the class 9 students. After one day they are entering into the class I once again revised the all topics for the easiness.  The class was done via google meet. There were a lot of network problems are there in today's class. Even though I tried my best to deliver the content.

 

School Internship: Day 6

On this last day of first week I was assigned to take the classes for 9th standard students. Today I was dealed about the topic "kinetic energy". The content was delivered with suitable videos and images. It really gains the attention of students.
